ON TOP OF THE WORLD
The 2nd best toss of the day, next to the one McNeal Intercepted
The Undefeated #1 Bruins beat #6 Texas A&M at the Wooden Classic as the afterglow of the trojan-killing still has Bruin fans riding high and trojans whining like babies
When was the last time that UCLA was the Toast of the Nation in Football AND Basketball at the same moment?

The whole Sports World was stunned by UCLA's glorious and unexpected victory over troy last week, and the National Sports Media has been replaying and re-hashing it all week. The trojan players are probably still too scared to turn on Sportscenter. The trojan fans are calling for their Offensive Coordinator's head, despite scoring 20 or more in 63 straight games. These fans are also crying in the Press, and making excuses for the choke. They are even trying to talk themselves into thinking that this year's Rose Bowl "matters." Actually, it's hard to imagine that their players will be up for the Ultimate Letdown Bowl, where both teams believe they deserve to be in Glendale instead of Pasadena. The trojans aren't even expected to win -- Michigan is a 1 and a half-point Favorite.

And the reason for the total lack of respect for sc: UCLA's Smackdown of Booty's Boys. The only sad part of all this National acclaim for the Bruins is that they might lose their Savior, Defensive Coordinator DeWayne Walker. He is being considered for some Head Coaching positions, including Stanford's. Sadly, he says that he'd be a fool to NOT listen to these offers.

So while UCLA has been dominating the College Football scene this week, their Basketball team is doing the same in their arena. After already dispatching ranked teams Kentucky and Georgia Tech, today they held off #6 Texas A&M. The Aggies put up a good fight, and even had a chance to tie it in the final seconds, but missed a tough three allowing the Bruins to prevail, 65-62.

Josh Shipp and Darren Collison carried UCLA, while Arron Afflalo sat with foul trouble. However, Arron came on in crunchtime to make a couple of huge shots. Lorenzo Mata was strong inside once again, until he fouled out with a few minutes left. Surprisingly, the Bruins pulled together in his absence, increased the lead, and squeaked by, 65-62.

While the Offense struggled at times, and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute didn't have one of his usually-dominating games, the Bruins' Team Defense led the way to the Bruins' 8th straight triumph.

The new Cheer Guidelines haven't TOTALLY ruined the fun
This was the 3rd best toss of the day -- He might as well have thrown in the towel
The Basketball team isn't the only Bruin Squad that is #1 in the Nation
Can't blame Joe for blocking the lens -- He has NO peripheral vision!
#17 Justin Hickman, whose Dad was a trojan, had a huge hand in the Upset of the Year
When the Bruins are kicking sc's asses in Pauley this year, the fans should chant: "Just like Football!"
Once again you've reached THE END (of sc's hopes and dreams for this season).
