MO JOLTS COLTS WITH 300 VOLTS TO HELP BOLTS
Maurice Drew leads his Jags to a blowout of Indy with 300+ Total Yards, 166 yards Rushing, and 3 TD's including a 93-yard Kickoff Return, to put the Chargers atop the AFC
If the San Diego Chargers win it all this year, and they just might, they owe a small thank you to UCLA's Maurice Jones-Drew. Mo kicked it up a notch on Sunday, as his Jacksonville Jaguars whipped the Indianapolis Colts 44-17. The loss knocked the Colts down to 10-3, making the Chargers the #1 team in the AFC, at 11-2.

If the Chargers keep winning, they will secure Home Field Advantage, which they would probably need to beat Indy in the Playoffs... so they should thank MJD.

Mo gained 166 yards on the ground in just 15 carries, and scored TD's on runs of 18 and 48. He also caught a 15-yard pass and had a 13-yard punt return. But he made all the highlight reels with his coup de grass, a 93-yard Kickoff Return Touchdown that put the Jaguars up by 21 in the second half.

Since Maurice was the Toast of the Town in Jacksonville, Jags Head Coach and ex-trojan player Jack Del Rio decided it was the perfect time to honor a bet that he lost to Drew -- Del Rio came to the Postgame Press Conference wearing a #1 UCLA Basketball jersey. The trojan explained that he bet Drew on the UCLA/sc Football game. NICE!! ['Cuz it sure would have SUCKED to see Mo wearing a ketchup & mustard sc jersey on National TV].

As the Jaguars inch closer to the Playoffs, Maurice might actually start to get some notice. After all, he is currently FIFTH in the NFL in TOUCHDOWNS with 12. He's got 9 rushing, 2 receiving, plus Sunday's Kickoff Return TD. Meanwhile, the guy who gets all the publicity, Reggie Bush, has only 7 TD's, which places him in TWENTY-NINTH place.

When Bush beats out Drew on some All-Rookie teams, you'll know the power of marketing -- style over substance -- image is everything. Actually Football experts will always know the truth: Mo Drew had a substantially BETTER Rookie year than his ex-trojan counterpart. And it's appropriate -- Reggie shouldn't really be considered a Rookie, since he's been a HIGHLY PAID Professional for the last few years. Just ask one of his Agents, or his rent-free Parents, or his Diamond earrings, or his two Mercedes, all of which he reportedly had while playing for the University of Steroid Consumption.
