FLORIDA WINS IT ALL AGAIN, THANKS TO UCLA AGAIN
The Bruins supplied the Gator-aid by knocking sc out, so that Florida could squeeze in... and kill Ohio State in the BCS Final, just 7 months after UCLA was Gatorbait in the Basketball Final
Not only does UCLA lead the World in NCAA Titles at 99, but they also lead in Assists. And recently, the Florida Gators have been the beneficiaries. Last April, the Bruins left their "A" Game in the Hotel when they let the high-flying Gators walk all over them in the Title Game. Then, last night, the Football Gators walked all over the heavily-favored Ohio State Buckeyes 41-14 to win the BCS Title Game, with a big "Thank You" due to the Bruins.

If it weren't for UCLA's 13-9 thrashing of the trOJans on December 2nd -- a date that already was living in infamy in Heritage Hall at Figueroa Tech -- it would have been sc taking advantage of a Ted Ginn-less and otherwise very rusty Ohio State.

The Buckeyes' Star Receiver/Returner Ted Ginn started the game with a 92-yard Kickoff Return TD, but then he got injured and was out for the game. And what he saw from the sidelines was more painful than any injury.

The Gators, behind QB (and Game MVP) Chris Leak, drove right through the vaunted OSU Defense time and time again, while the Ginn-less OSU Offense failed to produce more than just one early Touchdown drive.

Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith must have really missed Ginn, because he had the worst game of his career. He didn't have much time to do anything because the Florida Defense was dominating the line of scrimmage. The Florida Offense also controlled their line, continuously getting short yardage conversions right through the teeth of OSU's attack.

This game was no fluke -- The better team won. Of course, if Ginn doesn't get injured, a different game could have unfolded. But Ohio State did not seem as motivated as the Gators, and that was enough to carry them.

The best part of this result is that every single trojan fan now KNOWS that if it weren't for their total CHOKE against UCLA, the trojans would have kicked Ohio State's ass, and would have won the National Championship.

Well. Is that 13-9 victory "the gift that keeps on giving," or what? More emotional torment for troy. And that's what it's all about.
