Hey -- How do you say "Busted" in Spanish?
Okay, so who wants to be the next brain surgeon to claim that u$c Academics has "closed the gap" on UCLA?
Maybe these two incidents will put some of that nonsense to bed, as this has been a pretty tough week for anyone who is worried about the reputation of the "USC Education."
We've been telling you for years that Figueroa Tech athletes don't go to class but still make the Dean's List. Case in point is the formerly-failing Tailback who Pom Pom Pete suddenly needed, and whose grades suddenly made a remarkable recovery. Well, now we know how it's done. The University has just DIS-qualified a course given at a local Trade School, where trojans had been going, and getting credit at sc. The problem was that the course was being "taught" by someone who thought that an "A" was a passing grade, and that a "B" was the grade that you got just for signing up.
Not that this arrangement was unique around Heritage Hall, but this class was an automatic "B," a mark that some of these players haven't seen since Elementary School. So word spread fast, and supposedly a dozen recent trojan Football players all took this Spanish 3 class. It was such a sure thing, that even the ditzy trojan Cheerleader who cheered for Texas in sc's BCS choke game enrolled in it. It MIGHT be true that she cheered again when they cancelled the class, but if so, it's only because she didn't comprehend the word "discredited."
Speaking of discredited, one of the few actually distinguished members of the dubious Fig. Tech faculty is now the most distinguished member of a Penal Colony. (Emphasis on "Penal.")
William French Anderson had been known as the "Father of Modern Gene Therapy," but now he'll be trying to keep his jeans on as much as possible, as he was just sentenced to 14 years in prison, despite already being in his 70's.
When the Defense argued that the elderly Anderson would be painfully vulnerable to repeated sexual assaults as a feeble child molester in the convict population, the Judge basically said that Anderson should have thought about that before repeatedly abusing his underaged victim.
As reported here months ago, Anderson was the usc professor who gave little boys and girls Karate lessons, in the privacy of his own home. "Wax on, wax off??"
The complaining victim is 19 now, and tells an apparently convincing tale of ongoing abuse dating back to when she was 14.
With 14 being the magic number, Anderson will now pay the ultimate penalty for 14 years, if he lasts that long, or if he even WANTS to last that long. He didn't look too pleased during the court proceedings. Of course there will be an Appeal, so Anderson and the trojan-controlled legal system may still find a way to hijack justice. However, MORE likely is maybe now one of Anderson's other "students" will have the courage to come forward. Because what are the odds that he was molesting ONLY ONE of them?
One sure thing is that there will be no backlash to THIS trojan-bashing. After all, is anyone really going to rally around a CONVICTED CHILD MOLESTER, no matter HOW HARSH we are?
On second thought, Double-Murder is right up there with Child Molestation, but despite the Civil Court ruling against him, trojans continue to defend and worship O.J.
Did we mention, that William French Anderson doesn't have a Heisman?
