Does ANYONE still believe the spectacular bullsh*t that comes out of the $c spin machine? Even when their OWN guy ADMITS to the violation, they still deny it. And THEN, their own guy suddenly RECANTS his story, and swears that what he said happened, NEVER happened.
Doesn't this sound like a witness in a case involving a Columbian Drug Cartel suddenly not recognizing the Hitman?
During the Press Conference of Joe McKnight, upon announcing his decision to attend Figueroa Tech as opposed to staying at home with LSU, America's #1 High School Football player made it very clear why he was coming to lovely South Central Los Angeles: He declared that Reggie Bush told him on the phone during a conference call that usc was NOT going to be punished by the NCAA for all of their evil-doing. Bush and Pom Pom apparently assured Joe that the trojans would be getting away with everything -- the free house, the free rent, the bogus classes, the repeated rape accusations -- everything. And since the whole teflon program was going to skate, there was no reason not to join them, and start enjoying all the same diplomatic immunity.
As you probably know, it is a violation of NCAA rules for former players to call up potential recruits. Unfortunately for Pom Pom, they forgot to tell this to McKnight. So as soon as the brain surgeons at sc heard McKnight's comments, they seemingly rushed into action. It wasn't long before they rounded up the the Press again, and had McKnight recant to a National audience. He says that he was just excited by all the Press hubbub, and that he mis-spoke.
How do you mis-speak about TALKING TO REGGIE BUSH? It was probably the highlight of his life! Do you really think he would say that it happened if it didn't? It was probably the main reason for his decision to come out here -- and they want us to believe that he got confused about whether or not it actually happened? What do they take us for, o.j. jurors?
So now are you starting to see how they do it? How they continue to attract the most talent? Could it be because they can offer all these fringe benefits, and because incoming players know that they can get away with murder?
And speaking of o.j., O.J. Mayo, the trOJans' #1 Basketball recruit (also #1 in America), apparently has SCum written all over him. And with a name like O.J., can you BLAME him for being a thug? An incident two weeks ago has now led to this: Yesterday's 3-game suspension for the high school star. Just like a trojan-in-training, he apparently was upset over a call, and grabbed a Ref to get his attention. What a prima donna. Was this guy born to be a trOJan or what? Maybe it WASN'T all the hookers and cash that brought him out West to Trade Tech South. Maybe his life's dream was to be a trojan. But we find that a little HARD TO SWALLOW.
And speaking of "hard to swallow," that's the theme of the photos below.
