You wanted the Best, you've GOT the Best. The hottest Band in the World... No, not KISS... We're talking about the National Champion UCLA Bruin Dance Team, who recently said Viva Las Vegas and hit the road to Sin City, where they Beat SC to win the Crown. Just don't call them "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Dance."
That Dance, the one that won it all for the Bruins, will be on display for all to see on this Thursday Night at Pauley Pavilion, when the #4 (and rising) Bruins host Cal. As reported here two days ago, the Girls reportedly got permission to reprise the winning performance on Thursday, but were still awaiting clearance for doing it on Saturday also.
The Cal game is not a Revenge game, as is Stanford, however, at this point in the Season, every game is crucial. The Wisconsin Badgers were just made #1, but they lost last night at Michigan State, so the Top 5 could be in flux again. Thus, the 4 #1 Seedings for March Madness are still very much in doubt. One loss in these last two weeks could easily drop a team to a #2 or #3 Seed, and therefore a more difficult path to the Final Four.
One guy who will have a huge say in how far the Bruins go is Darren Collison, who just happens to be the Reigning Pac-10 Player of the Week. With his 15-Assist performance at Arizona, Collison's days flying under the radar are over. In fact, the announcers and Lute Olson were calling him possibly the Best Point Guard in the Country.
So come on out to Pauley tomorrow night, to see a whole bunch of Bruins who are the Nation's Best at what they do: Sparking UCLA to victory.
Below are 10 never-before-seen photos of the Dance team, exhibiting 4 different outfits.
