1ST TO 100: WHERE ANGELS DON'T FEAR TO TREAD (WATER)
Only Netflix has more Titles than UCLA, whose WetChix' 3rd in a row broke triple-digits for the Bruins
Let the fanfare begin.

The 100 Title mark will be broken only once, so why not celebrate it?

When the UCLA Women's Water Polo Team defeated Stanford on Sunday, it was their third consecutive NCAA Title, and it was #100 overall for UCLA. Even sweeter was that the #2 and #3 schools on the Title list were two of the losers from the Polo Final Floating Four. UCLA knocked out the Cardinal in the Final, the day after dispatching the cardinal & gold in the Semi.

The latest Championship puts UCLA sixteen NCAA National Championships AHEAD of sc. The trojans might catch up one day, but it certainly won't be any time soon. Maybe after the NCAA starts counting Ballroom Dancing as a Sport.

UCLA crushed sc in all three major sports this year, so they set a new record for margin of victory in the Gauntlet battle. The trophy is to be awarded to UCLA today, in a ceremony on campus. After that, the Bruins will celebrate the 100th Title, with Alumni and Coaches taking part in the festivities.

Of course, we have only one question: Do you think the Cheerleader auditions are comnplete, so that a Spirit Squad can contribute to the "specialness" of the event?

Below are more photos from the Water Polo Final, with emphasis on wet and wild celebrations. There are also a few shots of the Girls from Stanford, who fought valiantly, before coming up second best. In the final shot, you can see them bowing their heads in reverence.
