An ex-trojan and an honorary trojan got in trouble this week, but only the ex-trojan still has a chance to get off, again.
O.J. -- Simpson, not Mayo (for now) -- could end up skating once again, but right now Las Vegas Police consider him a "suspect" in the robbery of a room at the Palace Station Hotel & Casino. It is being leaked that GUNS were involved when O.J. and his posse went to the room and stole some Sports Memorabilia.
Surprisingly, O.J. ADMITS to being at the scene of the crime, but his excuse is that the stolen items BELONGED TO HIM.
What O.J. doesn't seem to understand: When the authorities confiscated all of his stuff to pay a off tiny portion of what he owes his victims' families, HE NO LONGER OWNS IT.
But of course, when O.J. wants something, no law will ever stand in his way. The typical trojan was created in O.J.'s image, so it's no surprise that his above-the-law attitude has became the mantra of the usc "we own the LAPD" trojans.
And that disrespect for law, order, society, and rules is why Patriot Head Coach Bill Belichick is an honorary trojan. And finally, the rest of the World is privy to what we've known ever since he childlishly bad-mouthed Bruin Freddie Mitchell -- The guy is a SCumbag. He and his Team have just been fined a half a million dollars for VIDEOTAPING and stealing the other teams' signs during games.
This heinous act is an insult to the integrity of Sports, just like the mobbed-up Basketball Ref and the 'Roided out McGwire. It completely taints New England's claims, of the Patriots being a legitimate Dynasty. It sure makes sense that the Tom Brady-led Pats were being aided by some intangible, since they routinely beat more talented teams. Well, when you know what the other team is going to do play after play after play, it's not that tough to triumph.
It is being surmised that Eric Mangini, the Coach of the Jets and a former employee of Belichick, is the one who tipped the Commisioner's Office. Good for him, and that will teach the arrogant Belichick, who for some reason thought that none of his "in-the-know" employees would ever leave him and become "the competition."
Belichick's Patriots even lost a Draft Pick in the penalty handed down this week. It's about time that one of these cocky jerks finally got caught. Too bad he wasn't banned from the League for life. Then he could switch places with Pom Pom Pete, and start living right where he likes to be: Above the Law.
